Three friends from the same organisation planned an unforgettable adventure trip to the beautiful Philippines. From swimming with whale sharks to chasing waterfalls and exploring stunning islands, this trip gave us memories for a lifetime.

Day 1 – The Magical Sardine Run in Moalboal
We landed at Cebu City airport at 2 AM and immediately started our 3-hour road journey to Moalboal, famous for its Sardine Run and sea adventures.
After barely 2 hours of sleep, we were ready for our first activity — the famous Sardine Run. The experience cost around ₹500 per person including snorkeling gear, guide charges, and taxes.
Just about 100 metres from the shore, we entered another world. Lakhs of sardines moved together like giant underwater clouds. Diving through them felt unreal. We also spotted huge sea turtles swimming peacefully nearby. We captured some amazing underwater moments using our DJI action pro.
Almost 50 minutes of continuous dives left us tired but completely amazed.
Day 2 – Swimming with Whale Sharks & Kawasan Falls Adventure

At 2:30 AM, we left in a shared cab for Oslob to experience one of the biggest highlights of the trip — swimming with whale sharks.
We reached around 5 AM, collected our tokens, and waited for our turn. By 7 AM, we were finally in the water.
Swimming beside a 10-foot whale shark was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Watching these gentle giants glide past us during those 40 minutes felt magical and unforgettable.
After Oslob, we headed towards the famous Kawasan Falls for canyoneering.
This is easily one of the most thrilling adventures we have ever done. For almost 4 hours, we climbed rocks, jumped into waterfalls, swam through turquoise waters, rappelled down cliffs, and explored the beautiful canyons of Badian.
Every minute was full of adrenaline and excitement.
Day 3 – Last-Minute Trip to Bohol

At the last moment, we decided to explore Bohol as well.
We travelled back to Cebu City by cab and then took a 2-hour ferry ride to Bohol. The ferry terminal felt just like an airport with security checks and boarding gates.
One important tip — beware of scammers outside the ticket counters trying to sell higher-priced ferry tickets.
We finally reached our hotel near Alona Beach by evening and relaxed after the long journey.
The beach comes alive at night with music, fire juggling shows, pubs, and lively crowds. It was the perfect way to end the day.
Day 4 – Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers & Scenic Road Trips
We woke up to light rain showers and rented scooty for a full-day island ride across Bohol.
The journey itself was beautiful — green forests, rivers, local villages, and peaceful roads.
Our first stop was the world-famous Chocolate Hills, where more than 1,200 cone-shaped hills create an incredible landscape.
Next, we visited the adorable Philippine tarsiers, one of the smallest primates in the world. Seeing these tiny creatures up close was a rare wildlife experience.
We also passed through the famous man-made forest and visited old churches influenced by Spanish architecture, giving strong South American vibes.
The entire road trip felt like a movie.
Day 5 – Back to Cebu
After checking out from our hotel, we returned to Cebu to catch our midnight flight back to Mumbai via Singapore.
Before leaving, we explored a toy store in Cebu city where we found one of the biggest collections of Hot Wheels cars we had ever seen.
Day 6 – Singapore Layover Adventure
Our flight landed early morning at Changi Airport with a 10-hour layover before our Mumbai flight.
Instead of waiting at the airport, we quickly turned it into a mini Singapore tour.
We visited the famous Merlion at Marina Bay for photos, explored Sentosa, clicked pictures outside Universal Studios Singapore, and later went shopping at Chinatown and Bugis Street.
A perfect ending to an action-packed international adventure.
